Prof. Khadkikar (IEEE Fellow) received his bachelor’s degree from Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad, in 2000, M. Tech from IIT Delhi, in 2002 and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from ETS, Montreal, Canada in 2008. From December 2008 to March 2010, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Western Ontario, London, ON, Canada.
Dr Khadkikar started his teaching career from MIT, Cambridge, MA, USA and then joined Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE. He has also been serving as Scientist member in the Mohammed bin Rashid Academy of Scientists (MBRAS) since 2018. He has contributed over 75 IEEE Transactions papers.
His research areas include Electric vehicle, Power Quality and Active Power Filters, Power Electronics Converters, Microgrid, Applications of Power electronics in Renewable Energy Resources, Solid-state transformers, CubeSats.
Prof. Hatem Zeineldin received his Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Power and Machines from Cairo University in 1999 and 2002, respectively. He obtained his PhD degree in 2006 from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at University of Waterloo.
He started his career from Smith and Andersen Electrical Inc. as an Engineer. His Teaching career started from MIT, Cambridge, MA, USA and then joined Khalifa University, Abu Dhabi, UAE.
He has received awards including University of Waterloo President’s Graduate Scholarship, Ontario Graduate Scholarship and Faculty of Engineering Scholarship.
His main research interests include distribution system protection, islanding detection, micro-grids and smart grid design.
Dr. Sairaj received his B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from university of Illinois at urbana-Champaign in 2007, 2009 and 2012.
He started his teaching career in 2013 as an assistant professor at University of Minnesota and is currently a Professor with Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Minnesota since 2023.
He has authored and co-authored more than 170 research papers and has been awarded with 2019 IEEE PES outstanding young Engineer Award, 2017-2019 McKnight Land-Grant Professor and 2015 National Science Foundation Career Award.
His research areas include modeling, analysis, design, and control of renewable electric energy systems.
Dr. Sivaneasan received the B.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2007 and 2012 respectively.
He joined the School of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, as a Research Engineer and subsequently as a Research Fellow.
He started his teaching career from Nanyang Polytechnic and then joined Singapore Institute of Technology as an Assistant Professor and subsequently promoted to an Associate Professor.
He is registered as Chartered Engineer with UK Engineering Council. He is also IEEE Industry Application Society (IAS) Distinguished Lecturer for IEEE Region 10. He has published more than 45 technical papers in power engineering in micro-grids and smart grid technologies and co-authored 2 book chapters on Vehicle-to-grid.
His current research focuses on advanced metering infrastructure, condition monitoring system, renewable energy technologies, Electric vehicles, energy storage systems, building energy management systems, demand response and smart grids.
Dr. Nadarajan received his PhD degree from National University of Singapore in Electrical & Power Engineering in 2016. He did his B. Tech & M. Tech from Pondicherry Engineering College, Pondicherry University, India.
He joined SIT in July 2024. Prior to SIT, he worked with Rolls-Royce, Singapore for 15 years as a technical manager and head CoE- Electrical equipment health monitoring. He has around 19 years of industrial experience in aerospace, marine, automotive, and other industries. He also worked as a lecturer at Anna University, Chennai, India. He has also worked with Delphi Automobile System Pte. Ltd. and MS Elevators (Toshiba joint venture) Sdn. Bhd.
Dr Nadarajan has filed 40 patents in USA and Europe and published over 50 research papers in international journals and conferences. He is a certified chartered engineer by Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK. He also recognized with various awards for his innovation and technology development, received the 2023 ASEAN outstanding engineering achievement award from AFEO, the 2023 IES prestigious engineering award from IES, Singapore, and received the Sir Henry Royce awards for innovation and engineering excellence from Rolls-Royce Plc.
His research area includes condition monitoring and failure prognosis of safety and mission critical applications, architect safety critical electrical systems, applied AI for prognostic health management, fault tolerant electrical machines, medium fidelity modelling and simulation, and electrical drives.
